Fireflies are a charming symbol of early summer at Lake Yamanakako. For the month of June only, you can enjoy firefly viewing right here on our resort grounds. There is no need to venture out to dark or rugged watersides. We have set up a special viewing cage within the facility, so even families with small children can enjoy the experience safely and with peace of mind. After enjoying a meal in your private, air-conditioned dining room, take a short evening stroll. Once you have been soothed by the magical glow of the fireflies, you can quickly warm your chilled body in your guest room's private open-air bath or sauna, accessible 24 hours a day. Create special early summer memories in your completely private space. ◆ About Firefly Viewing [Viewing Period] June 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026 [Viewing Time] 19:00 – 21:00 *As nights at Lake Yamanakako can be chilly, viewing is limited to these hours to ensure the well-being of the fireflies. [Viewing Etiquette] We ask for your cooperation in creating a safe environment for the fireflies. Please do not shine lights on them (It disrupts their ability to communicate with each other). Please do not make loud noises (It will startle the fireflies). *Guests staying during this period can enjoy the firefly viewing regardless of the plan booked. The private grounds are equipped with the following: - 6m dome tent (fully air-conditioned and heated, with four beds) - Dining room (fully air-conditioned and heated, with a large BBQ grill) - Dressing and washroom area (fully air-conditioned and heated) - Shower booth (indoor) - Open-air bath, private sauna, and outdoor cold water bath filled with groundwater from the foot of Mt. Enjoy a comfortable stay in the air-conditioned and heated dome tent. ● Air-conditioned and heated dining area Enjoy a dining area fully air-conditioned and heated, perfect for any season and weather. Enjoy authentic BBQs on the large BBQ grill. ●A relaxing bath The open-air bath is equipped with an artificial hot spring. It supplies alkaline water with water quality similar to that of a natural hot spring. The cold bath is constantly supplied with 17-degree groundwater pumped from the foot of Mt. Fuji. (Temperature may vary slightly depending on the outside temperature.) All rooms are equipped with private saunas as standard. This is a private space for both first-timers and experienced users, so you can enjoy it at your own pace without worrying about others. The shower room is indoors. Warm up in the indoor shower room, unaffected by the weather, before heading to the open-air bath! We also have infinity chairs, also known as "relaxing chairs." ●Luxurious chill time around a bonfire Glamping allows you to enjoy not only indoors but also outdoor spaces. A bonfire is provided in the outdoor terrace space of your room, ready to be started even for first-timers. The sound of the fire, combined with the sounds of nature, creates an indescribable chill time. In front of the bonfire, you can naturally talk about things you normally wouldn't say. ● Wake up to the majestic Mount Fuji. The rooms are purposefully separated by walls, so there's no need to close the curtains when you go to sleep. You won't have to worry about anyone peeking in. Wake up with the morning sun and see the majestic Mount Fuji before your eyes.
